This software is the output of a small group of retired IT professionals each of whom have well over four decades of experience.
We all experienced (and worked with) the actual invention of many of the basic pillars of IT systems and their construction. That is experience that no one can get these days and that no amount of formal education can match.
Hands on work with massive mainframes … ha ha – massive. 8Kwords of memory … that is right .. 8k (kilo bytes) was a older mainframe at the time. Some of them actually had added disk drives .. massive units with a megabyte of storage..
The performance and capacities of the current hardware is just in a completely different universe, but the the fundamentals of information science, algorithms and data processing economics have not changed.
Many new buzzwords have been invented … and replace older buzzwords for the same issues and solutions. You need decades of experience to see through the fog created by excited younger professionals enthusiastic experiments.
